Mio Restaurant is around 15 minute walk from the hotel. Whilst it is a cosy restaurant, it definitely packs a punch with its menu.

We found the staff friendly, welcoming and dedicated to making your meal an incredible experience.

Mio caters to various dietary requirements and has a great range of vegan and gluten-free menu items. This is such a great little restaurant and it is easy to see why it’s so popular.

Our menu tip: The Tagliatelle with Nduja Ragu is delicious!

Sapori Café and Restaurant

60 Horseferry Road, London SW1P 2AF

A short 15 minute walk from The Belgrave, this restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and is very popular with tourists. A local, family-run diner that prides itself on the large portions and great service.

We think this is a perfect go-to for breakfast – with continental or a full English, there is something for everyone.

Our menu tip: Try the Fusilli Salsiccia – beautiful!

Tozi Restaurant & Bar

8 Gillingham Street, London SW1V 1HJ

Tozi specialises in the Venetian tradition of ‘cicchetti’ which means small plates. At Tozi, you order lots of little dishes and everyone in the party shares what’s on the table.

The restaurant is more casual than some other Italian restaurants in the area, but this all adds to the charm. There is an all-day menu which can be served at the bar as well as the restaurant area.

Tozi is right next to Victoria station and a short walk from The Belgrave.

Ideal for brunch, lunch or dinner we highly recommend a visit to this restaurant to keep you going during a busy day sightseeing.

Our menu tip: Baby Chicken with Roasted Potatoes and Chilli. A spicy twist on a classic!

The Wine Place Covent Garden

The Wine Place is a charming restaurant a few minutes walk away from Covent Garden and Leicester Square tube stations.

With a superb traditional menu that is aimed more for lighter bites and an impressive wine menu, The Wine Place is ideal for those who want to eat before a show or who have been on the tourist trail and need a rest stop before heading back to The Belgrave.

Our menu tip: The Baked Camembert is sensational!

Rosetta

38 William IV Street, London WC2N 4DD

A little bit further out than the other recommendations, this is ideal for those doing business near Charing Cross or who have gone to the National Gallery.

A really cosy restaurant with some authentic Italian touches, this really feels like you’re in the Tuscan valleys rather than in London. With an affordable menu, and perfect for lunch on the go, Rosetta is one of our favourite Italian restaurants.

A must for traditional Italian coffees and treats, it’s a great little go-to place for catching your breath and recharging.

Our menu tip: The Gnocci al Gorgonzola was delightful!
