Throughout the year, there are hundreds of events that take place in and around London where people need to find somewhere to stay before, during and after. Some guests want to stay away from the city centre, which is why The Belgrave is a popular place to stay when visiting London.

Our hotel location in Pimlico is ideal for getting into the centre by tube or bus. We also pride ourselves on our staff who are always on hand to help out guests in whatever they need.

With a busy couple of months coming up, why not book in with The Belgrave to have an ideal base for your trip?

London Marathon – Sunday 2nd October

The London Marathon is one of the busiest and most popular road races that take place in the UK. It is attended by regular runners and elite athletes as part of the World Majors series. Thousands of people descend on London from all over the world to spectate or take part.

2022 will be the 42nd London Marathon and the third one to take place in October after the pandemic forced a change from the usual April race time.

Although the marathon takes place on the Sunday, there is a festival atmosphere in the city as people get to London early to attend the London Marathon Expo on the Saturday.

At The Belgrave, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming, relaxing place for you to stay and rest before and after the marathon.

NFL London Games – 2nd, 9th and 30th October

The NFL games are back in London for another year. These are a really popular event as American Football takes over the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Wembley Stadium.

Cheer on your teams as Minnesota Vikings take on New Orleans Saints, New York Giants play the Green Bay Packers, and the Denver Broncos are against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Make sure if you have tickets for any of the games, that you understand what you can and can’t take into the ground – or head to one of the local sports bars if you haven’t got tickets.

At The Belgrave, we are an ideal base for those wanting to head to the game as we’re only 45 minutes from the stadium, with plenty of options to get to and from Tottenham.
